Dear Friends,
David rejoiced that God had been so good to him. But, at the same time,
he turned to the people and urged them to trust in God and be blessed.
Have you told someone about how great and wonderful God is for you? Tell
someone today.
Psalm 62: 7>On God my salvation and my glory rest; The rock of my
strength, my refuge is in God. 8>Trust in Him at all times, O people;
Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.
Dear Lord, Help us be bold witnesses. Show us the time, the place, and
the people to whom we should speak. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Dear Friends,
Jesus loves obedience and has given us the privilege of being His family
members because we obeyed and followed Him. Let us practice obedience
each day.
Luke 8: 21>But He answered and said to them, “My mother and My brothers
are these who hear the word of God and do it.”
Dear Lord, Please help us to know Your will so that we might obey You
and follow You wherever You lead. Thank You for the privilege. In Jesus’
Name, Amen.

Dear Friends,
Jesus is sufficient for every need of our lives. He fills our lives with
meaning and guides us into the right places to teach us and bless us.
Praise Him today!
John 6: 35>Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; he who comes to
Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst.”
Dear Lord, Thank You for meeting all our needs, and for saving our
souls. You truly are our very Sustenance. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Dear Friends,
Jeremiah took the time to worship his Heavenly Father. He was not too
busy to stop and simply praise and honor his God. Let us be sure and do
that, too.
Jeremiah 10: 7>Who would not fear You, O King of the nations? Indeed it
is Your due! For among all the wise men of the nations and in all their
kingdoms, there is none like You.
Dear Lord, Truly there is none like You! You deserve all our worship
each and every day of our lives. Thank You for being our great God. In
Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Dear Friends,
There is no deception, no hiding with God. He is always there in the
light, always revealing, helping, and listening. He is a doting Father.
Think about these things.
I John 1: 5>This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to
you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.
Dear Lord, We bask in Your Light! We are so grateful to be Your
children. Thank You for helping us find the truth. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Dear Friends,
It is easy to be hospitable to those we know and love. But the
Scriptures teach us to extend our hospitality to the unknown person, to
the unloved and unlovable. That is hard sometimes, but we can grow from
the experience.
Hebrews 13: 1>Let love of the brethren continue. 2>Do not neglect to
show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels
without knowing it.
Dear Lord, May we please learn to be hospitable in Your Name and not our
own, loving with Your love, for it is perfect and true. Thank You for
Your revelations to us. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Dear Friends,
Wisdom and understanding are reflected in our behavior. May the world
see Jesus in our wisdom and understanding today!
James 3: 13>Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his
good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom.
Dear Lord, Please help us to reflect Jesus in all that we do, showing
wisdom and good behavior always before the world. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Dear Friends,
The ancient Hebrews knew that they must venerate the elderly and that
they must show great reverence before God. May we learn this same
lesson, for it is truth.
Leviticus 19: 32>You shall rise up before the gray-headed and honor the
aged, and you shall revere your God; I am the LORD.
Dear Lord, Please help us to always show respect and have helpful
attitudes toward the elderly. Above all, please help us to show
reverence to You, for You are holy and deserving of all our respect and
honor. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
