Dear Friends,

As Jesus was loyal to His Father, may we be loyal to Jesus! Have a great
day today, and stay in an attitude of prayer throughout the day.

Psalm 2: <11> Obey the Lord with much fear. <12> Show that you are loyal
to God’s Son.

Dear Lord, May we obey You, living in a spirit of worship at all times.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Dear Friends,

Our relationship with Christ is reflected in our relationship with
people. Let us really work at being Christ-like in our dealings with
other Christians and with the world at large.

Philippians 2: Think about what we have in Christ: the encouragement
he has brought us, the comfort of his love, our sharing in his Spirit,
and the mercy and kindness he has shown us. If you enjoy these
blessings, then do what will make my joy complete. Agree with each
other, and show your love for each other. Be united in your goals and in
the way you think.

Dear Lord, Please direct our thinking, our loving, and our actions. May
we reflect Christ in all that we do. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Dear Friends,

As we prepare our hearts and minds for worship at His church tomorrow,
let us praise Him. He is worthy of all our praise and all the honor we
can give Him.

Psalm 117: Praise the Lord, all you nations. Praise the Lord all you
people. God loves us very much! And God will be true to us forever!
Praise the Lord!

Dearest Heavenly Father, Your Name is glorious, and Your marvelous acts
merit our praise and attention. May we reverence You and adore You with
the people tomorrow at church. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Dear Friends,

Following Jesus is not a part-time job; it is a full-time job with
passion and conviction. Dedicate yourself anew today to be a faithful
follower, willing to carry your cross.

Luke 9: Jesus continued to say to all of them, “Whoever wants to be
my follower must say ‘No’ to themselves and what they want to do. They
must accept the cross that is given to them every day and follow me.”

Dear Lord, May we follow You all the way to the cross, if that is what
is needed. How very much we love You, and how very much we need You. In
Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Dear Friends,

Ask a blessing on all your family and friends today. Let the Lord take
care of those you love. Have a great day today.

Numbers 6: May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord
be good to you and show you his kindness. May the Lord answer your
prayers and give you peace.

Dear Lord, Please bless those we love today; watch over them and care
for them. Thank You for answered prayers. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Dear Friends,

We can learn to walk in the Spirit all day every day, and what a joyous
life that is! Pray that the Lord will help you to do just that.

Colossians 3: Think only about what is up in heaven, not what is
here on earth. Your old sinful self has died, and your new life is
kept with Christ in God. Christ is your life. When he comes again,
you will share in his glory.

Dear Lord, We celebrate Your holiness and Your beauty. May we think
about You all day long today. In Jesus’ name, Amen

Dear Friends,

Let us find wisdom in the Lord and His precepts. Let us follow Him and
obey Him. He always knows best.

Job 12: [We say,] ‘Wisdom is to be found in old people. Long life
brings understanding.’ But wisdom and power belong to God. Good
advice and understanding are his.

Dear Lord, We accept and respect Your wisdom and Your understanding.
Teach us, we pray, to learn from You and obey You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Dear Friends,

Let’s begin the week by rededicating ourselves to prayer and Bible study
before we face each day. We need our spiritual breakfast!

Ephesians 6: Wear the full armor of God. Wear God’s armor so that
you can fight against the devil’s clever tricks. Our fight is not
against people on earth. We are fighting against the rulers and
authorities and the powers of this world’s darkness. We are fighting
against the spiritual powers of evil in the heavenly places.

Dear Lord, Help us to arm ourselves with Your Word and Your Spirit
before we begin the day and face the wiles of the devil. We love You and
confess our need for You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Dear Friends,

As we prepare our hearts for worship tomorrow, let us meditate upon the
love of our Lord for us. Let us try to be like Him and express to Him
our deep gratitude for His sacrifice on the cross.

Ephesians 5: You are God’s dear children, so try to be like him.
Live a life of love. Love others just as Christ loved us. He gave
himself for us—a sweet-smelling offering and sacrifice to God.

Dear Lord, We are so grateful to You for loving us and for saving our
souls through Your incredible sacrifice on the cross. Thank You, and
help us to live like You would have us to live. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Dear Friends,

Under Joshua’s leadership, the Children of Israel had to cross the River
Jordan at flood stage. The priests would have to actually walk into the
water before it would open for them and let them pass. That is faith!
May we be willing to enter the waters so that the Lord can part them for
us, too.

Joshua 3: The priests will carry the Box of the Lord. The Lord is
the Master of the whole world. They will carry that Box in front of you
into the Jordan River. When they enter the water, the water of the
Jordan River will stop flowing. The water will stop and fill behind that
place like a dam.

Dear Lord, Help us, we pray, to have the kind of faith that those
priests had when they entered the flood in order to let You work. Thank
You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
