Dear Friends,

Be sure and start your day today with prayer. Then just stay with the
Lord all day long! What will you give the Lord this morning? He wants
your self, your love, your devotion.

Psalm 5: Every morning, Lord, I lay my gifts before you and look to
you [for help]. And every morning, you hear my prayers.

Dear Lord, We give ourselves to You anew this morning, as living
sacrifices. We offer all that are and have to You in worship. Please
stay in our conscious thoughts throughout the day. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Dear Friends,

We are never given talents, abilities, and special blessings just for
our own pleasure. They are for service. Let us never waste them, but
rejoice as we serve with them.

Luke 12: “Whoever has been given much will be responsible for
much. Much more will be expected from the one who has been given more.”

Dear Lord, Help us, please, to be aware of our own giftedness, to
develop it the best way we can, and then to use it to serve You. In
Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Dear Friends,

Forgiving is not automatic, nor is it easy. But it is possible.
Sometimes we have to work at it, going back to forgive again what we
have already forgiven. But this is what the Lord would have us to do.

Mark 11: “When you are praying, and you remember that you are angry
with another person about something, then forgive that person. Forgive
them so that your Father in heaven will also forgive your sins.”

Dear Lord, Your forgiveness means everything to us. Help us to forgive
quickly and easily, returning love for insult and kindness for
deception. Help us to love as You do. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Dear Friends,

May today’s verses touch us in a deep and profound way, reminding us
that we must be trustworthy in every way, for we are ambassadors for Christ.

II Kings 12: That money was used to pay the workers. And those
workers repaired the Lord’s temple. No one counted all the money or
forced the workers to tell what happened to the money. Why? Because
those workers could be trusted!

Dear Lord, May our employers and others always be able to count upon us,
to trust us, because they know we are Your servants. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Dear Friends,

Many words from the Bible seem to have lost their meaning in our modern,
fast-paced world. But the word “respect” should mark our lives. We
cannot respect any kind of authority without first learning to respect
the Lord. Meditate on the word “respect” today and have a great day!

Proverbs 9: Respect for the Lord is the first step toward getting
wisdom. Getting knowledge of the Lord is the first step toward getting
understanding.

Dear Lord, May we not only respect You, but may we also learn from You.
May we live in such a way that the whole world will see our respect for
You and all of Your creation. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Dear Friends,

There is a delicate balance to be kept as we live in the world without
actually being a part of it. Commit yourself anew to the Lord, even as
you go to work or school or rehearsals today.

John 17: <15> “I am not asking you to take them out of the world. But I
am asking that you keep them safe from the Evil One. <16> They don’t
belong to the world, just as I don’t belong to the world. <17> Make them
ready for your service through your truth. Your teaching is truth.”

Dear Lord, We know that when You prayed for the disciples before Your
crucifixion and resurrection, You prayed for us as well. May we abide in
Your Truth, and follow You in obedience. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Dear Friends,

Exalt the Creator this morning! Praise His holy Name! By a powerful Word
all that exists came into being.

Psalm 148: <1> Praise the Lord! Angels above, praise the Lord from
heaven! <2> Praise the Lord, all you angels! Praise him, all his army!
<3> Sun and moon, praise the Lord! Stars and lights in the sky, praise
him! <4> Praise the Lord in the highest heaven! Waters above the sky,
praise him! <5> Praise the Lord’s name. Why? Because God gave the
command, and we were all created!

Dear Lord, How wonderful You are! We praise You, for You are worthy of
all praise and honor. To You be the glory forever. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Dear Friends,

At all times we must remember that it is the Lord who capacitates us to
do His work. We are simply vessels for His use. Humility must be sincere.

II Corinthians 10: <18> What people say about themselves means nothing.
What counts is whether or not the Lord says they have done well.

Dear Lord, Thank You for all that You do in us and through us. May we
ever be available, humble, and ready to obey. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Dear Friends,

The Lord is with us every hour of the day or night. His wisdom is there
to help us and to lead us. Rejoice in His kindness and mercy.

Isaiah 54: <10> The Lord says, “The mountains may disappear, and the
hills may become dust. But my kindness will never leave you. I will make
peace with you, and it will never end.” The Lord shows mercy to you. And
he is the One that said these things.

Dear Lord, We have peace and joy because of You. We have the confidence
of Your presence each day. Thank You, O Lord, for such incredible love.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
