Dear Friends,
Self-control and self-discipline in our lives lead to a clear conscience
and a happy accountability to our Lord and to our fellow man. Let us
strive to develop these two things.
Acts 24: 16>In view of this, I also do my best to maintain always a
blameless conscience both before God and before men.
Dear Lord, Thank You for creating us with choices. Help us to faithfully
make the right choices, governed by self-control and self-discipline,
but above all by the Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Dear Friends,
Jesus has no limits in what He can do. Do we really believe that? We
should, for He has proven Himself over and over. Give thanks to Him this
morning for His power and might.
Mark 9: 23>And Jesus said to him, ” ‘If You can?’ All things are
possible to him who believes.”
Dear Lord, Help our belief to be strong, our faith to be unwavering, and
our trust in You to be exemplary. You deserve the very best that we
have. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Dear Friends,
Samuel told the people that they could count on the Lord, the
unchangeable, constant, loving God. His promises were real then, and
they are now, too. Trust in the Lord, for He is unchanging. How comforting!
I Samuel 15: 29>”Also the Glory of Israel will not lie or change His
mind; for He is not a man that He should change His mind.”
Dear Lord, We are awestruck by Your constancy, Your love, and Your
dependability. May we learn from You how to be unchanging and
dependable. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Dear Friends,
The key to today’s Scripture is “unchanging love”. The Lord practices
it, and He wants the same from us. He is always the same; let us strive
to have unchanging love like His. Have a great Sunday with the Lord at
your church!
Micah 7: 18>Who is a God like You, who pardons iniquity
and passes over the rebellious act of the remnant of His possession? He
does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in unchanging love.
Dear Lord, May we learn to be consistent with unchanging love, even as
You demonstrate for us. Help us to grow. Thank You for Your forgiveness
of all our sins. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Dear Friends,
We have a Friend in Jesus like no other. There is nothing that is too
hard to share with Him, no time or place where He is not appropriate.
Trust Him, pour your heart out to Him, and let His love warm and comfort
you.
Psalm 62: 8>Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your heart
before Him; God is a refuge for us.
Dear Lord, May we learn to enjoy and strengthen Your presence within us
at all times. Thank You for being our Friend and our Savior. In Jesus’
Name, Amen.

Dear Friends,
The Lord’s army marches through history carrying out His commands to
love, to live, to serve, and to worship. Are you a part of that army?
Joel 2: 11>The LORD utters His voice before His army; surely His camp is
very great, for strong is he who carries out His word.
Dear Lord, May we humbly learn to be good soldiers, obeying Your every
command, and living only for You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Dear Friends,
We never have the freedom to sin, but the freedom to love and rise above
sinful situations. Let us learn what that really means for the sake of
our Lord.
Galatians 5: 13>For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not
turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love
serve one another. 14>For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the
statement, “YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.”
Dear Lord, Please help us to learn to love our neighbor, even if he is
not easy to love. Help us to enjoy the freedom of loving and caring. In
Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Dear Friends,
If you strive to be close to the Lord every day, then when the tough
times come, you know where to go for strength. Meditate on that thought
this morning.
Nahum 1: 7>The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble, and He
knows those who take refuge in Him.
Dear Lord, You are, indeed, our Stronghold, our Fortress, and our daily
Help. We submit ourselves to Your authority. Bless Your holy Name. In
Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Dear Friends,
Is Jesus really first place in your life? How much time do you give to
Him each day? Try to let Him take care of life’s needs, and you just
rejoice and enjoy the Lord! Have a great day!
Matthew 6: 33>Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and
all the things that you need will be granted to you.
Dear Lord, We rest in You. We recognize our need for You above all other
needs. We trust You to meet our needs as we worship and adore You. In
Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Dear Friends,
Our Heavenly Father made all of us with the same purpose—to worship and
adore Him and to serve Him. Therefore, while we might each have
different tasks, we remain important and beloved in His sight. Rejoice!
Give praise to God for this magnificent blessing!
Romans 10: 12>There is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same
Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13>for,
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Dear Father, How we cherish that relationship that we have with You,
knowing that You love us equally! Thank You for salvation in Jesus and
for fellowship with You and with one another. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Sandy Simmons
